What IP Display does
IP Display is a PowerToys Command Palette extension that provides a lightweight Dock band for the IPv4 addresses used by the current internet connection.
Features: - Local source IPv4 and public egress IPv4 in the Dock - Click either address to copy it - Manual refresh and automatic refresh after network-address changes - Configurable periodic refresh interval - Local change history with timestamps, per-address copy actions, and full-history text export
The public address is the egress address observed by the configured HTTPS provider (ipify). It may belong to a router, VPN, proxy, carrier-grade NAT, or another upstream gateway. History is stored only on the local device. Requires Windows 11 and PowerToys with Command Palette.
