Nigerian Puff Puff

What do programmers do when they are hungry? They grab a byte!
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. instant yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm milk
- Oil for deep frying
Directions
- Mix flour, sugar, nutmeg, salt and yeast together in a bowl using a spatula
- Pour warm milk into the mix and stir using a spatula or your hands. Do this until there are no lumps
- Cover the bowl with aluminium foil, or any covering you prefer as long as it is airtight
- Place covered dough in a warm place to rise for an hour
- After an hour, preheat oil in a pan on medium heat
- Scoop dough using an icecream scoop and place into the heated oil. Place as many puff balls that can fit into the pan
- Deep fry until golden brown. This should take at least 6 minutes.
- Remove from heat and place on a paper towel to drain the excess oil
- Now your puff puff is ready!!!
