  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. instant yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups warm milk
  • Oil for deep frying

Directions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, nutmeg, salt and yeast together in a bowl using a spatula
  2. Pour warm milk into the mix and stir using a spatula or your hands. Do this until there are no lumps
  3. Cover the bowl with aluminium foil, or any covering you prefer as long as it is airtight
  4. Place covered dough in a warm place to rise for an hour
  5. After an hour, preheat oil in a pan on medium heat
  6. Scoop dough using an icecream scoop and place into the heated oil. Place as many puff balls that can fit into the pan
  7. Deep fry until golden brown. This should take at least 6 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and place on a paper towel to drain the excess oil
  9. Now your puff puff is ready!!!
