The Night Skies Conference brings together astronomers, astrophotographers, and enthusiasts to explore the latest discoveries, share techniques, and celebrate the beauty of the cosmos.
Attendees gain access to keynote sessions, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and guided stargazing events led by renowned experts from around the globe.
For the best experience, bring a sturdy tripod, a camera capable of manual exposure control, and a wide-aperture lens. A remote shutter release and extra batteries are also strongly recommended.
Doors open at 7:00 PM with check-in and telescope setup. The keynote starts at 8:00 PM, followed by breakout tracks focusing on observation, imaging, and data analysis.
Clear skies are expected throughout the evening with low humidity and minimal moonlight, providing excellent conditions for observing faint deep-sky objects.
Remember to adjust your eyes to the dark for at least 20 minutes before attempting to view the dimmest galaxies and nebulae.
Help guide guests through the night sky, assist with telescope alignment, or contribute to the astro-photography exhibition. Volunteers receive complimentary admission and a commemorative star chart.
