Step into Colossal Cave, the legendary text adventure that helped define interactive fiction. Explore a sprawling underground world, solve cryptic puzzles, collect treasure, and try not to become permanently lost in a maze of twisty little passages.

There are no menus, maps, or glowing quest markers. You simply tell the game what you want to do:

get lamp
inventory
north

Adventure, just as you remember it

The skill preserves the game’s wonderfully terse 1970s voice. Copilot does not rewrite the prose, narrate your actions, offer unsolicited hints, or turn the cave into a modern role-playing game. What the game says is exactly what you see.

Your progress is saved automatically, so you can explore one turn at a time and continue the same adventure later. Each conversation keeps its own game separate.

Need to step outside the game for a moment? OOC means out of character. Begin a message with OOC: to ask Copilot a normal question without disturbing your adventure:
