This release adds remote image controls and more model profiling detail, makes model search easier to access, and improves Agent Inspector connection and response reliability.
Added
- Remote image controls: Remote images in playground conversations, Agent Builder responses, and model license content are blocked until you choose Load Remote Images.
- Model profiling: On Windows, view TensorRT RTX GPU operator traces. Intel CPU/NPU profiling now uses OpenVINO trace data when Intel Unified Telemetry data is unavailable.
Changed
- Model Catalog: Search and filters now appear above Popular Models, and recommendations hide during keyword searches. Featured models and recommendation ordering have also been refreshed.
- Agent Inspector details: Clearer latency labels distinguish waiting between runs from total elapsed time. Details panes have improved sizing, run labels, keyboard accessibility, and consistent event-export filenames. Unsupported panels are hidden when inspecting a generic Responses endpoint (preview).
- Agent traces: Removed the standalone View Foundry Agent Trace command from the Command Palette. Trace viewing remains available in Agent Playground.
Fixed
- Agent Inspector connections: Windows localhost connections, initial connection messages, and recovery after disconnects are more reliable. Changing agents clears stale inspection state, while refreshing the same connected agent preserves it.
- Agent Inspector responses: Completed runs retain final diagnostics without mixing diagnostic events into the displayed response. Interrupted streams preserve partial output and keep pending continuations retryable, with failure details in the run timeline.
- MCP tools: Long server and tool names no longer exceed the 64-character model tool-name limit. Agent Builder continues to display the original names.
- Local models: Windows-only local-model providers and management commands no longer appear on macOS and Linux.
