Build Your
Agentic DevOps Practice
Pick what your teams will stand up in production, then use GitHub to get there: enterprise adoption, platform migration, Advanced Security rollout, agentic workflows, or cloud DevOps modernization.
Bring your own. This runs on your tenant — work each challenge against your own apps, repos, and data so the result keeps running in production. The sample apps are only a fallback so no one is blocked.
Start with what you'll put into production.
Each path curates challenges across modules into a practical route to adopt GitHub, migrate, secure, automate with agents, or operate in the cloud — then take it home as a production adoption checklist your teams run in their own org.
Or browse by platform capability.
Modules remain the source content structure: GHEC, GHAS, Agentic Workflows, and SRE Agent. Outcome journeys compose these modules into adoption paths.
How it works.
Challenges are built for two audiences — students do the work, coaches facilitate and verify. Everything is data-driven from a single metadata contract, so the site always reflects what's actually in the repository.
Browse the catalog. Filter by module, difficulty, or tags. Every card tells you exactly how long it takes and what you need to know.
Each challenge creates its own namespaced resources — repos, boards, workflows. Bring an org, run the setup script, and you're ready.
The student guide walks you through each step. When you're done, the success criteria tell you exactly what "done" means.
The coach guide (behind a toggle) has the rubric, verification commands, and facilitation notes. No guesswork on either side.
A good place to start.
Environment setup.
Each module has a dedicated setup challenge. Complete the one for your module before tackling any other challenge — it provisions the resources every subsequent exercise depends on.
