What it does
Design Thinking method coaching knowledge across all nine methods including per-method techniques, deep expertise, and industry context (energy, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, nonprofit and social impact, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, professional services, public sector, retail and CPG)
When to use it
DT Coach loads the reference for the active method, adding a deep reference for
advanced facilitation or an industry reference when that context is established.
Use this pack for project-specific coaching across the nine methods, not as a
standalone slash command. dt-coaching-foundation supplies continuity and fidelity
rules; dt-curriculum supplies teaching modules instead of live-project coaching.
Example usage
In a sample Method 6 session, tell DT Coach: "Use dt-methods to help us test
whether operators can find the next repair step while wearing gloves. We have a
validated concept, but only one polished mockup." Supply the concept rationale,
environment constraints, and intended participant roles.
The coach should load the low-fidelity prototype reference, help identify one assumption per variation, and distinguish construction work from feedback design. Expect rough competing approaches and an observation plan that records behavior, constraints, severity, and whether the assumption remains inconclusive.
Success comes from documented real-environment feedback before narrowing a direction, not a favorable opinion about the mockup. Human-simulated examples remain low fidelity; model execution crosses the source's Method 7 boundary. Do not fabricate observations, expose participant data, or mistake an industry example for evidence about the current team.
