What it is
A PowerShell assessment that collects Microsoft 365 configuration signals and creates JSON and HTML reports for Copilot deployment-readiness review.
Why use it
- Review Entra, licensing, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Graph signals in one run.
- Read plain-language descriptions and Copilot context for collected settings.
- Optionally add a Microsoft Compliance Configuration Analyzer assessment.
How to use it
Open PowerShell in the resource folder and run:
.\Get-M365CopilotReadiness.ps1 -OutputPath "C:\Temp\M365Readiness"Use -IncludeMCCA for the optional compliance assessment. Complete the interactive sign-ins; failed services are logged while the remaining checks continue.
Prerequisites
- Windows PowerShell 5.1 or PowerShell 7
- Network access to Microsoft 365 endpoints
- Documented read permissions and service admin roles
- MCCA licensing and roles only when using -IncludeMCCA
