What it is

A Power BI dashboard that combines Microsoft Purview CopilotInteraction audit exports with Entra user details to show adoption trends by user, app, and agent.

Why use it

  • Separate direct app usage, Microsoft agents, third-party agents, and Copilot Studio activity.
  • Explore adoption trends by department, role, license, app, and time.
  • Use a portal or PowerShell audit export with one shared Power BI classification model.

How to use it

  1. Export CopilotInteraction events from Microsoft Purview Audit.
  2. Run Export-M365CopilotReports.ps1 and export Entra user details.
  3. Open the PBIX, edit PathToCopilotAuditActivitiesCSV and PathToEntraUsersCSV, then select Close & Apply.

Prerequisites

  • Permission to search Microsoft Purview Audit
  • PowerShell 5.1 or later
  • Power BI Desktop
