Authentication Methods​

In interactive local sessions (TTY and not over SSH), teams login automatically opens your browser for seamless sign-in. After authenticating in the browser, the CLI picks up the token automatically.

In all other sessions — non-interactive (CI, piped input), SSH remote sessions, or when TEAMS_NO_INTERACTIVE=1 is set — the CLI falls back to device code flow: it prints a URL and code for you to enter in a browser manually.
