Task 1.2: Connect to the Domain Controller and Microsoft Defender for Identify Quick Installation

  1. In the Azure portal, in the upper left, select Home.

  2. On the Azure Home page, under Azure services, select Virtual Machines.

    If no virtual machines display in the list, on the Virtual machines menu, select Refresh.

  3. On the Virtual machines page, select DC01.

  4. On the DC01 blade, select Connect, then select Connect.

  5. On the DC01 - Connect blade, under Native RDP, select Download RPD file.

  6. In the Downloads box, select Keep to force the download.

  7. After the RDP file download completes, in the Downloads box select Open file.

  8. In the Remote Desktop Connection box, select Connect.

  9. In the Windows Security box, enter the following credentials, then select OK.

       
    Username MSAdmin32
    Password Passw0rd12!@

  10. In the Remote Desktop Connection box, select Yes to access the DC01 VM via remote desktop.

  11. In the DC01 VM, on the Networks pane, select Yes, then close Server Manager.
