What is the Core Module?

The Core module provides essential shared entities that support organizational operations, governance, legal compliance, and strategic planning. It serves as the foundation that other FAST modules build upon, offering standardized data structures for:

  • Organizational Structure – Organization Units, Locations, and workforce management
  • Governance and Compliance – Policies, Legal Authorities, Compliance Frameworks, and regulatory requirements
  • Strategic Planning – Organization Initiatives, Strategic Goals, Objectives, and Key Results
  • Risk Management – Risk Assessments, Controls, and Vulnerabilities
  • Legal and Financial Context – Agreements, Contracts, Funding Sources, and Budget Allocations

What’s Included

The Core module is a model-driven app starter kit that includes:

  • 37 foundational entities with standardized data models
  • Baseline forms and active views for each entity
  • Entity relationships that connect governance, legal, organizational, and strategic data

This release provides implementors with a solid starting point for building enterprise solutions that require consistent organizational and governance data.

Getting Started

The Core module is available in the FAST Modules Repository under the MIT license. Import the solution into your environment and customize it to fit your organizational needs.
