Task 2: Set up Azure AI Search

Return to the Microsoft Azure portal home page, and then select Create a resource.

On the Create a resource blade, search for and select Azure AI Search.

In the Marketplace search results, under Azure AI Search, select Create and then select Azure AI Search.

On the Create a search service blade, on the Basics tab, in the Subscription dropdown list, verify your lab subscription is selected.

In the Resource group dropdown list, select @lab.CloudResourceGroup(RG1).Name.

In the Service name, field, enter azureaixxxx and then select Next.
- Replace the four x’s with four numbers and use that naming pattern throughout the exercises.

In the Region dropdown list, select East US, and then select Next.

On the Scale blade, leave the default settings, and then select Next.

On the Networking tab, leave the default settings and then select Next.

On the Tags tab, leave the default settings and then select Next.

On the Review + create tab, review the settings and then select Create.
This deployment should only take a couple of minutes.

When deployment shows as complete, select Go to resource.

On the azureaixxxx blade, in the navigation pane, expand Settings and then select Keys.

On the Keys blade, under API Access control, select Both.

At the confirmation prompt, select Yes.

Back on the Keys blade, under Manage admin keys, select Regenerate for both the Primary and Secondary admin keys.

At the confirmation prompt for both, select Yes.
