Task 2: Enable diagnostic settings

  1. Return to the Microsoft Azure portal home page, under Resources, select azureaixxxx.

  2. On the azureaixxxx blade, in the navigation pane, expand Monitoring and then select Diagnostic settings.

  3. On the Diagnostic settings blade, select Add diagnostic settings.

  4. On the next Diagnostic settings blade, in the Diagnostic setting name field, enter DiagnosticSettingxxxx.

  5. Under Logs, select the allLogs checkbox.

  6. Under Metrics, select the AllMetrics checkbox.

  7. Under Destination details, select the Send to Log Analytics workspace checkbox.

  8. In the Subscriptions dropdown list, verify your lab subscription is selected.

  9. In the Log Analytics workspace dropdown list, select LAWorkspacexxxx, and then select Save.
