Task 4: Create a new alert policy for threats based on Azure OpenAI content analysis

  1. In Microsoft Edge switch back to the Azure portal tab.

  2. On the contentsafetyXXXX blade, in the navigation pane, expand Security and then select Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

  3. On the Microsoft Defender for Cloud blade, notice no Recommendations or Security alerts are displayed at this time.

  4. Select View all recommendations in Defender for Cloud.

  5. On the Recommendations blade, next to the Search by title / resource field, review the various ways recommendations could be filtered (none will show at this time):
    • Status
    • Risk factors
    • Risk level
    • Recommendation maturity
  6. Select the X in the upper-right corner to go back to the Microsoft Defender for Cloud blade.

  7. In the navigation pane, expand Monitoring and then select Alerts.

  8. On the Alerts blade, select Create alert rule.

  9. On the Create an alert rule blade, on the Conditions tab, in the Signal name dropdown list, select Latency and then select Next.

  10. On the Condition tab, select Next.

  11. On the Actions tab, Select the X in the upper-right corner to close the Use quick actions (preview) slide-out.

  12. Under Select actions, select Use action groups.

  13. On the Select action groups blade, select Create action group.

  14. On the Create action group blade, on the Basics tab, in the Action group name field, enter ActionGroupxxxx.

  15. In the Display name field, enter LabAGxxxx and then select Next.

  16. On the Notifications tab, in the Notification type dropdown list, select ERmail/SMS message/Push/Voice.

  17. On the Email SMS message/Push/Voice dialog, select the Email checkbox.

  18. In the Email field, enter the lab admin email address @lab.CloudPortalCredential(User1).Username and then select OK.

  19. In the Name field, enter Lab Admin Email and then select Next.

  20. On the Actions tab, leave the default settings, and then select Next.

  21. On the Tags tab, leave the default settings and select Review + create.

  22. On the Review + create tab, review the settings and then select Create.

  23. Back on the Create an alert rule blade, on the Actions tab, select Next.

  24. On the Details tab, in the Alert rule name field, enter Latency alert rule and then select Next.

  25. On the Tags tab, select Next.

  26. On the Review + create tab, review the settings and then select Create.
