Module 4: Demonstrate Enterprise Insights options against data
Architecture
The BPS workload for Fabric is currently in private preview (November 2025). As such, the features, capabilities, processes, and user interface are subject to change.
BPS is available in the following Azure and Fabric regions:
- Central US
- East US
- Germany West Central
- North Central US
- North Europe
- West Central US
- West Europe
Data
This workshop uses data from a live SAP system. Due to the volume of data that will be replicated from SAP to Fabric and the time constraints for this workshop, the steps related to ingesting the data will be presented as an interactive simulation.

Prerequisites
To deploy Business process solutions, you need:
- Microsoft Fabric capacity license SKU F2 or higher (F32+ recommended) or Microsoft Power BI Premium license. For more information, see Understand Microsoft Fabric licenses.
- A tenant that has the BPS feature enabled (You need the Global Administrator role to enable the BPS feature in the Microsoft Fabric admin portal.)
- The Power Platform administrator or the Fabric administrator (Workspace Owner) role to create a new workspace, deploy BPS, and add artifacts in Power BI.
For this live lab, you were provided with the credentials and roles that are required. If you want to replicate this using your own tenant ther are some extra steps where you might need to prepare the environment and ths guide does not include them.
