Current release version for Configuring the Chat AI Usage Notice: 0.261.001

The chat notice supports non-dismissible, per-session, daily, and once-per-message-version dismissal modes. When admins change the configured notice text, the message automatically reappears so end users see updated guidance in Chat.

Why It Matters

This matters because AI usage guidance can be kept visible at the point of use without custom template changes.

How to Try It

  1. Open Admin Settings > Notices & Agreements and write the Markdown guidance users should see below the chat composer.
  2. Choose whether the notice is non-dismissible, per-session, daily, or once per message version.
  3. Update the notice text when policy changes so the notice reappears for users who previously dismissed it.
  4. Preview Chat after saving so admins can confirm the exact user-facing wording and placement.
