Voice-Assisted Form Inputs

Speech-to-text controls now appear in supported agent, group, public workspace, document metadata, tag, and instruction fields when speech input is enabled.

Current release version: 0.250.001

Voice-assisted inputs help users draft longer instructions, metadata, descriptions, and tag values without typing everything manually. Dictated tags and keywords are normalized into safer saved values.

User Side

Speech-to-text controls now appear in supported agent, group, public workspace, document metadata, tag, and instruction fields when speech input is enabled.

Admin Side

Availability may depend on tenant settings, governance policies, workspace scope, action configuration, or admin-managed identities. If you do not see this capability, contact your SimpleChat admin.

Why It Matters

This matters because many setup and metadata fields are easier to draft by voice, especially longer agent instructions or document descriptions.

How to Try It

  1. Look for microphone controls beside supported form fields.
  2. Use dictated instruction briefs to draft agent instructions, then review and edit before saving.
  3. Expect this pattern to expand to more form fields over time.
