Current Release v0.261.001

Jump Back to Any Earlier Prompt

A contents drawer indexes the questions you asked in a conversation so you can jump straight back to any of them instead of scrolling.

Current release version for Jump Back to Any Earlier Prompt: 0.261.001

The drawer lists your saved prompts as navigable entries and tracks where you currently are in the conversation. It is on by default when your admins enable it, works with keyboard navigation, and adapts to an off-canvas panel on smaller screens. You can hide it for your own account from your profile if you prefer a wider chat area.

User Side

A contents drawer indexes the questions you asked in a conversation so you can jump straight back to any of them instead of scrolling.

Admin Side

Admins decide whether Jump Back to Any Earlier Prompt is available in your environment. If you cannot find Open Chat and Open Profile, ask whether the related settings, governance policy, or workspace access has been enabled for your account.

Why It Matters

This matters because a long working session becomes hard to navigate, and the thing you want to return to is almost always a question you already asked.

How to Try It

  1. Open Chat and continue a conversation that already has many messages.
  2. Find the conversation contents drawer beside the message area.
  3. Scan the list of your earlier prompts to locate the point you want.
  4. Select an entry to jump directly to that place in the conversation.
  5. Notice the drawer tracks your current position as you scroll.
  6. On a smaller screen, open the drawer as an off-canvas panel instead.
  7. Open your Profile and hide the drawer for your account if you would rather have the space.
