Exercise 06: Secure Copilot Agent Lifecycle with ALM
Introduction
The Zava Retail Store team is facing a growing issue where Copilot agents are being updated too quickly without clear separation between development, test, and production, creating risk from unintended changes, unclear ownership, and limited traceability; they need a consultant to help design an ALM managed setup that enforces strong environment isolation, controlled promotion between environments, and auditable change history, ensuring every update is tested in isolation, approved intentionally, and fully visible for compliance, telemetry, and operational accountability as the solution scales.
Description
In this lab, you will perform the following tasks:
- Task 01: Configure ALM for Copilot Agents by defining isolated Dev, Test, and Prod environments with controlled promotion paths enforced through managed solutions.
- Task 02: Apply Lifecycle Management Practices using pipelines, environment routing, and promotion strategies to safely move agents across environments.
- Task 03: Integrate Governance and Observability by enforcing environment-specific policies and enabling auditing and telemetry for full change traceability.
- Task 04: Execute the End‑to‑End Lifecycle Pipeline to validate the complete ALM lifecycle using your configured pipelines and controls.
