Day 2

Overview

In Day 2, we will have discussions about what is computer science and why it is important to study. We will then discuss what a computer is and the history of computers. We will then discuss what computer hardware is and how computer memory is measured. Students will then explore computer specifications by shopping for their ideal computer.

Day 2 will be a continuation of the introduction of this course. Day 2 will cover:

• What is computer science
• What is a computer
• The history of computers
• What is computer hardware
