Day 18

Overview

On Day 18, students will learn more about abstraction by nothing the different levels of abstraction in programming languages and the differences between block-based and text-based programming languages. Students will then create the Lemon Leak game using JavaScript. When they are finished, the class will discuss what they observed as they wrote the program. Students will then practice what they learned by code tracing two programs written with blocks and then rewrite those programs in JavaScript. Students will finish the day answer reflection questions regarding the tasks they completed.
