Day 3

Overview

In Day 3, students will learn about data collection methods and how to create a survey to collect data. They will learn about the different types of survey questions, the importance of avoiding bias in the questions posed, and general tips on creating a survey. Students will also be able to begin drafting their questions in preparation for creating their survey tomorrow.

Day 3 will be about:

• Selection of a research topic that can be researched via a survey.
• Data collection methods.
• Survey question types.
• Bias in surveys and how to avoid it.
• Survey creation tips.
• Begin creating a survey that will collect information.
