Day 7

Overview

In Day 7, students will review what they learned about parallel and distributed computing and then they will learn more about the World Wide Web. Students will learn basic HTML and practice basic HTML syntax. Finally, students will learn that their next project will be to create a website teaching others about how the Internet works. Students will be tasked with creating a visual that depicts how the Internet works, using a real world scenario for their visual. (Ex: a visual showing what happens when someone streams a movie using Netflix)

Day 7 will cover:

• Parallel and distributed systems
• The World Wide Web
• Basic HTML
• How a computing device interacts with the Internet
