Details
1. Introduction (5 minutes)
Explain to students the process for the day. Each group will have three minutes (this time will vary depending on your class size). After presenting, the audience can give constructive feedback.
2. Present Projects (35 minutes)
- Organize the order of presentations as you choose β allow them to volunteer to present, select the presentation order randomly "out of a hat" or with another random selection process, or you can order the presentations purposefully by having the topics/concepts presented in a logical order.
- Set a time for three minutes to keep track of presentations (time will vary depending on class size).
- When group finishes presenting, audience can give constructive feedback. (Need to limit feedback to around a minute.)
- You can utilize any format of feedback. Glow and Grow is a suggested feedback strategy.
3. Iteration (5 minutes)
- Encourage students to engage with the feedback they received on their project.
- What are some things you hadn't thought about?
- How might you iterate your work to incorporate the feedback?
4. Homework
- Students will complete the Project Reflection page for homework.
