Details

1. Create share link and QR code (5 minutes)

• Show students how to generate share link and QR code link.
• Have students create both.
• Ask students to add their link and QR code to the Survey Link & QR Code page in their section of the notebook.

2. Test survey (15 minutes)

• Ask students to share the link to their survey with one of their classmates:
  • If students are allowed to use their phones, they can share the QR code instead.
  • Each student should take the survey of a classmate.
  • Classmates should review the Survey Rubric and offer feedback.

3. Revise survey (10 minutes)

• Encourage students to take classmate's feedback and revise their survey.

4. Distribute survey (15 minutes)

• Show students how to delete their classmate's response.
• Instruct students to distribute their survey by:
  • Drafting an email with the survey link to potential respondents and emailing it.
  • Creating a flyer with the QR Code and posting around school or preparing to hand it out to people.
  • Posting the link on social media or someplace else where they know potential respondents will see it.

5. Homework

• Find ways to make sure your survey is seen by a large group of people.
