Task 1.2: Assign required licenses to users

1. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, on the left navigation, select Users > Active users.

2. On the Active users page, from the list of users, select the new user that you just created.

3. On the menu, select Manage product licenses.

4. On the License and apps page, locate and select Microsoft 365 E3/E5.

   If you do not have any licenses available to assign, skip to Task 3.

5. Select Save changes to allocate the license to the selected user(s).

6. Verify the license is listed for the user(s).
