Task 3.1: Exclude SharePoint Online sites

1. In Microsoft Edge, go to https://admin.microsoft.com.

2. On the left menu, select SharePoint.

3. Go to a SharePoint site where you have administrator permissions.
   If you need to, create a new site using the Communication template.

4. In the upper-right, select Settings > Site information.

5. Select View all site settings to open the Site Settings page.

6. Under Search, select Search and offline availability.

7. Under Allow this site to appear in search results, select No to exclude it from both Microsoft Search and the semantic index search.

   This can also be performed with PowerShell for multiple sites.

8. Select OK.
